Expedition Overview 50th Anniversary of Independence Project in the Community Jungle Trek Takoradi War Graves Memorial

In 2007 Ghana, in West Africa, celebrates its 50th anniversary of independence from Great Britain. As part of these celebrations Middlesex Wing, together with National Cadet Corps Ghana, will be running a two-week expedition to Ghana called Expedition Jubilee Eagle.

There are four main phases to the expedition:

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Ghanaian Independence.
To undertake a Project in the Community.
To undertake a Jungle Trek.
To visit the Commonwealth War Graves in Takoradi and perform a Memorial Service.
