To celebrate Ghana's 50th Anniversary of Independence from the United Kingdom, we will be attending events in Accra and around the rest of the country.
The anniversary is the expedition's main objective, and the importance of it to us is reflected in the name of the expedition - JUBILEE Eagle - and also in the expedition badge: the 50 signifying the number of years of independence.
The Memorial Service at Takoradi will also be linked to the Independence celebrations.
