To reduce the heavy financial impact for the cadets, Expedition Jubilee Eagle members are involved in a number of fundraising activities. Much effort is being placed on this so that the burden of high costs is shrunk significantly to allow the cadets to travel to Ghana and take part in this life-changing adventure with no worries. So far we have taken part in bag packing, a raffle, an auction and a sponsored BAe 146 aircraft pull at RAF Northolt. Along with this hard work and upcoming events we have also been supported by many companies, organisations and individuals. With these acts of kind generosity we have reached and continue to surpass our original fundraising target of £20,000.
On behalf of all those involved with Expedition Jubilee Eagle, I thank everyone who has supported this expedition in one way or another. Their support is allowing forty young adults to take part in a trip of a lifetime and have experiences that many can only dream of participating in.
