I have served my two and a half years in the corps at 1083 (Uxbridge) Squadron. During my time I have participated in many events such as my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, two Longmoor adventure training camps, two Fremington adventure training camps and I have been on three annual camps to RAF Shawbury, RAF Linton-on-Ouse and RAF Lyneham.
I take part in most sports for my squadron. Unfortunately I have not yet represented Middlesex Wing as I have been injured during trials. I have represented the wing in shooting, and have attained a corps marksman several times, as well as shooting at the Inter Service Cadet Rifle Meeting at Bisley for the last two years.
From Jubilee Eagle I am hoping to further my understanding of life in countries such as Ghana. I feel that this is a great opportunity for me as I have never experienced anything like it before.
